Egress Press & Research
Egress Press & Research is a fine art publishing component of the printmaking program at Edinboro University. Founded in 1998, the press has hosted numerous nationally-known printmakers who have shared their skill, knowledge, and life experiences with Edinboro University students and community members. Visiting artists normally spend four days on campus creating blocks, plates, or screens and a proof-ready-to-print. After artists leave, faculty and student printers create a print edition that is shared between the artist and the press.
Edinboro University Print Club
The Print Club organizes exhibitions and sales of student work, trips to conferences, and discussed artists students would like to invite to create prints with Egress Press and Research.
Edinboro University Graduate Program
Edinboro University offers a quality graduate experience for students pursuing an MFA in studio art. The program has 18 students working in Ceramics, Metals, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture. Accepted students receive a 90% tuition waiver and a modest stipend. The program tries to accept one student in printmaking each fall.
